Coastal Orchid was inspired by the quiet moments I experienced visiting along Mexico's tropical coastline—morning walks beneath flowering trees, orchids growing unexpectedly along colorful streets, butterflies drifting through lush gardens, and the warm coastal breeze moving gently through the palms.

Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration, and I find myself slowing down to observe the small details that many people pass by—a flower blooming beside a doorway, the movement of butterfly wings, or the subtle palette of sea, sky, and tropical foliage. Coastal Orchid became my way of preserving those moments through pattern.

Every motif in this collection began by hand as pencil sketches and watercolor paintings before being thoughtfully translated into seamless repeating designs. I wanted the collection to celebrate both the artistry of traditional illustration and the timeless beauty of tropical botanicals. The soft ocean blues, sun-washed greens, and airy neutrals were chosen to evoke the peaceful rhythm of coastal living while creating a sense of quiet sophistication.
