Courtyards of San Miguel
Courtyards of San Miguel is a celebration of the quiet beauty found behind the colorful doors and walls of San Miguel de Allende. Inspired by the city's hidden garden courtyards, this collection captures the feeling of nature being thoughtfully woven into everyday living.
Lush ferns, climbing vines, blooming flowers, weathered stone pathways, decorative tilework, and sun-washed architecture come together to tell the story of these intimate outdoor spaces. Soft, timeworn colors are paired with touches of vibrant florals and greenery, reflecting the way the Mexican sun gently fades colors while leaving their beauty intact.
Beginning with hand-painted watercolor studies inspired by photographs and memories from my travels, each motif was carefully developed into patterns that celebrate the connection between architecture and nature. Trellis designs, botanical coordinates, floral trails, and decorative geometrics echo the layered textures and timeless charm found throughout San Miguel's courtyards.
This collection is designed to bring a sense of warmth, sophistication, and quiet escape into the home—a reminder of peaceful garden mornings, filtered sunlight, and the simple beauty of nature brought indoors.
